What incentive is there to say "I'm not confident"? If someone is particularly bad at comparing faces in pictures and they let multiple shoplifters through they're likely going to lose their jobs.
I use MySQL Aurora quite heavily and, for our purposes(very high usage, but simple query pattern) there's no obvious differences outside of one major annoyance.
The biggest, for me, is that Aurora clusters use shared storage and therefore the isolation model is slightly different(plus other ramifications), read committed is only possible by setting a cluster wide parameter and read uncommitted is not possible, as far as I can tell.
We've established that there are trust-fund kids who try and those who don't, what differentiates these groups? Why does one group try and the other not try?
Are trust-fund kids with an IQ of 40 in the same group as the not-triers?
I don't think that's true for most people, but for me the difference isn't large enough to matter.
It probably takes most people 1 or 2 minutes to click the one click buy button on Amazon and download a book. I can get a book from Z-Library on telegram, upload it to Dropbox, and have it downloaded to my Kobo in 3-4 minutes -- not a big deal on book reading time scales.
Once a co-worker accidentally pushed an AWS key pair to his public dotfiles repo. About 30 seconds later AWS disabled the key and notified the account admin about the possibility of an account breach.
You can re-characterize the contribution until tax deadline day of the following year, you can contact your investment firm do to that and they'll handle everything. With Vanguard it's as easy as filling out a form and waiting for the process to complete.
I guess maybe I don't understand why one would go into journalism, but if your goal isn't to effect change why be a journalist? Were the journalists working on stories detailing the Catholic Church's pedo problem just doing it for kicks or a book deal?
We use it for provisioning vsphere VMs with all of the provisioning done through cloud-init. Can't say I like cloud-init but our onprem stuff is pretty simple and almost all of the VMs can be rebuilt if a change is needed so it works well enough but I'd probably use ansible if I were starting new.
