Just as an unscientific anecdata point: from a quick test using the same prompt about being an independent journalist wanting to cover a report of the US/Israel/Iran double-tapping a refugee camp, ChatGPT consistently gave advice to beware disinfo, check my sources and be transparent about verifiability and sourcing of the claims.
However when the prompt was phrased to make it appear as an action of the US military it did push back a little bit more by emphasizing that it couldn't find any news coverage from today about this story and therefore found it hard to believe. In the other cases it did not add such context. Other than that the results were very similar. Make of that what you will.
EDIT: To be fair, when it was phrased as an action of the Israeli military it did include a link to an article alleging an Israeli "double tap" on journalists from Mondoweiss (an anti-Zionist American news site) as an example of how such allegations have been framed in the past.
And when you suggest unions and worker organization to them they gloat that the company takes better care of them without it. They don't want to be in the same class as the peasantry.
You've clearly put a lot of thought into this, but yes it is my opinion that you are correct in your analysis that these will not improve American lives. Tariffs can be a powerful economic tool when wielded in a directed, focused, and intentional manner, unlike how they are handled here.
I would put less faith that these evil sacks of lard will ever do anything to help us. We need to help ourselves.
As a rule - I disregard the opinions of the diaspora. It's nothing personal but often they are often the least informed and most biased when speaking about any given homeland.
As a rule you disregard the opinions of refugees because you think they are the least informed on the topic that has intense personal impact on them and their families? WTF?
What evidence do you have that Israel has any interest in a Iran that is functional in any capacity. I feel like we are living in different worlds reading this comment.

By far the best outcome here for Israel is for Iran to be a stable and friendly country with a strong central government and normalized relations like they had prior to the revolution in Iran.
Just look at the countries surrounding Israel and which ones are causing Israel more security issues, the countries Israel has good relations with are countries like Egypt and Jordan with relatively strong central governments that have a vested interest in preventing regional instability, unstable countries with weak central governments like Lebanon and Syria on the other hand are far more problematic because you then get rouge groups like Hezbollah that cause problems for everyone.
