I just noticed my yearly plan almost doubled in price from $60 to $108.

Went to cancel my renewal, and realized not only is that not possible without downgrading my account and losing the access I have paid for (with well over half of the year I paid for remaining), but I can't change or remove the credit card billing information they have saved, either.

Ulbricht was unfairly sentenced.

All of the death threat allegations were never proven.

He did not deserve to rot in prison for life for creating a website.

So let's just roll over and give up then? Is that what you're implying?

If nobody takes a stand against situations like this, it's only going to get worse.

Enact laws that require app makes not to be allowed to harvest so much data and/or hold onto it for more than 24 hours perhaps.

But don't just kick some massively successful company off of your country's internet because you're afraid.

The only way me as a regular person is able to 'take a stand' is to take my income and assets and move somewhere that I believe is more conductive to the way I want to live.

Maybe another open source library will fix it.

Apparently Google removes pagerank from expired domains to prevent gamification of their Search Index.

Same should apply to OAuth, you would think.
