What's worse is that the copy isn't even better... if you're going to copy it, at least improve on the aesthetics or something. Sheesh :)

If government work added up to 50% of my business I'd want you to shut and pay your taxes too... :)

Unless someone lives in the woods and is off the grid, they benefit from taxation in some fashion. Perhaps not as much if you don't have government contracts, but still indirectly.

So what about all the other points made in the article?

The other points in the article are similarly anecdotal. She is in a position where she profits directly from taxation. What a surprise that she would want everyone to accept higher and higher levels of taxation!

Agreed. Seems the second option (to upgrade OSX) should've been the first option, and the wording needed to be changed.

The "Upgrade" wording would have assured me it wasn't going to do anything crazy like wiping my hard disk.

Sounds like something Wikileaks should try...err... wait...nevermind. :)

This may or may not be useful advice depending on the direction of the software... but this technology could make for the basis of great enterprise software. Everyone I've ever met who manages a Microsoft SMS / System Config Manager in an enterprise always seems to hate it. There's definitely a need for a simple way to manage and deploy software in an enterprise setting.

Two Words: Hookers and Blow.

And this gets downvoted?

Blackboard may just be the only piece of software I despised more than ExpertsExchange...

What's next, "What Successful Criminals and Successful Entrepreneurs Have in Common".. ?

Sadly enough, that little bit in the video about corporate people spending all day in their Outlook is way too close to truth...

Looks like the guys at MS decided to take a lesson or two from Xobni.

Bummer, didn't really see that coming. For some reason I felt like Andrew didn't need the money (from what little he posts about his background and experiences with his former company). There was this feel that the main goal of the site was really to collect and chronicle the modern day entrepreneur... and really, he was doing a bang up job at it. (Dare I say the best job yet?)

Guess I can't blame him for wanting to profit, but this particular move for profit just feels cheap. I would've much rather see some other ways of profiting. i.e. Quarterly Boxed DVD Sets, etc.
