Why disallow password login when you have 30 char password?

> Why disallow password login when you have 30 char password?

I only disallow password login over SSH. It's still technically possible to log in at a virtual console (like tty1 / tty2 / etc.) using a password (btw only root has a 30 characters password).

Usually you do not allow to directly log in as root by SSH: but in my case it's basically the way I want it done. So I allow root to log in by using SSH but only with a Yubikey.

Windows vulnerability list is overflowing with lpes, hundreds of them. You should filter it per month, the list is too big to load in full.

>strong provisions for protecting unauthorized transfers out of your account

What's with people complaining that they can't terminate transfers out of their accounts?

I kill any process that misbehaves.

That 4 GiB will also update daily, because without churn it will be dead.

You mean openssl? That said, if we can have /dev/tcp, why we can't have /dev/ssl?

I have 161kb program from 1992 and it works. I suspect it doesn't use libc. Well, on windows there's nothing useful in libc anyway.

Electron apps use the usual web 2.0 forced keyboard focus antipattern which breaks page up and page down scrolling, so they are difficult to use. Also blurry text rendering.

I wrote bindings for gtk, it's 16kb of text. I imagine riir of curses will be much more mork.

Windows has a hot key control for input and display of keyboard shortcuts https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/controls/hot...
