While a Freelancer's reputation is everything - a lot of the talent marketplace's out there actually protect crappy clients and trigger the exploitation of the freelance talent completing the work. Recruiting agencies are also positioned to exploit freelancers. Covailnt's Glassdoor-styled reviews help level the playing field.
when not working on Covailnt.com I've been developing a universal mount for aluminum extrusion based roof racks. The two are completely different wheelhouses, but working on a physical product vs digital product gives my brain a needed break.
I'll take any thoughts here. Currently our landing page really seems to resonate with full time freelancers, but not really with part-time/moonlighters, independent consultants or solopreneurs, even though Covailnt’s built for them as well. I have ideas on what I can do with some of the language, but as you guys know, it’s risky to stay inside your own head sometimes. I’ll take anything you throw at me. Thanks all!
