Yep. Sometimes you just have to realize you can't take certain paths in life. In my late 20s I can no longer become a race car driver or a pilot. When you're 33 and you have a 10 year old son you can no longer get an anthropology PhD. That's just how the world works. This lady made bad choices and keeps making them.

It's pretty simple at face value. You're interacting with a person instead of a screen, that's basically like a game where you try to "win" by getting the best price for all the stuff you're ordering. Of course you might know it's wrong but you don't see anyone (and can likely assume) no one directly involved will take the fall for it. Compared to a cashier that gives away something for free, they might get yelled at or lose their job. It's empathy, it's human, and it makes a lot of sense.

See, I would think that it will do the opposite. As the poles heat up faster, it would lower the gradient between the hot waters in the equator and the cold waters at the poles that drive the thermo haline cycle.

At least thats what is happening in the atmosphere. Its why the polar jet stream is weaker, and rossby waves are more prone to break off and send a polar vortex to the US, because the gradient across the boundary is lessened by the quickly warming poles.

The only thing I have problems finding something that works is Google maps. As an Android user there are a few different options but Google did make a damn good maps app.

Probably by using the child lock you can't get out the back but someone else can come in the front and stick you up.

If it was a child lock, why did the driver need to ask to lock the door?

20 year old cars did not have electronic child lock, this is how the mechanic child lock worked

Child lock isn’t electronic, it’s a mechanica switch you can only access when the door is open that prevents you from opening the door from the inside of the car. Locking the doors does nothing, if the door is going to open it’ll automatically unlock if you pull the handle from the inside.

That's not how my old car (Mondeo 97) works.

I see in the US requirements that the rear side door lock has to disable both the exterior and interior handles. Odd.

Yes, but that was typically a difficult to access switch, not something you'd easily locate in a strange car. If the driver wanted to use the child lock, they'd just use it without telling the passengers (they would find out only after closing the door).

A difficult to access switch yeah, but then some cars required you to also lock that door from the inside to activate it.

OH, man I hadn't thought of that good point.

I know plenty of drug addicts that don't break into people's homes putting themselves and others at risk. Hurting other people to benefit yourself is exactly the type of person that is just asking to be categorized as 'human trash'.

Sorry buddy, but there around millions of people around the world that go through very painful withdraws and don't break into people houses. The withdraws don't make them bad people, the criminal neglect for others does.

Sure, but many of them feel they have to resort to stealing something, whether or not it's from a break-in. Of course break-ins and theft are extremely unethical; I'm just saying that the full circumstances should be considered, and they're not necessarily irredeemable human beings just because they're committing this crime.

A spree shooter killing innocent people in cold blood is garbage, and a terrorist blowing up a building is garbage, but a drug addict in awful pain due to terrible decisions acting purely on impulse to stymie the pain isn't garbage. They take their life in their hands if they break into someone's home, because that's how any break-in has to be treated, but that doesn't make them subhuman.

2 days out of action over 10 years seems like a fairly good uptime imo

U-net is great and there are plenty of different versions of it for a variety of problems that have yet to be discovered!

Interpolation between known sets? You could have an envelope of real world conditions and create thousands of samples that are variations in between for purposes of training.
