Do you really, honestly, have to be doing this stuff even when you sleep? To the point it hits you “wait is this even any good? Gee I don’t want to push out slop.”

If you don’t trust the agent to do it right in the first place why do you trust them to implement your tests properly? Nothing but turtles here.

I would be more impressed if it could give a straight yes/no answer to a yes/no question.

Probably less than the cost of an LLM doing exactly the same thing?

Not sure about that - a local 12b-32b LLM consumes miniscule amount of energy compared to gaming on the same hardware.

A hundred thousand posts on HN about how you can, without hesitation, replace your network security team with AI, and you can see the flood of CEOs (or CEO wannabes) nodding and murmuring about saving costs. A single post about CEOs being automated and all of a sudden it’s all about “intangible human relation skills” and “AI couldn’t possibly” and “but my network of angel investors and other CEOs”.

I swear there’s a joke or cautionary tale here somewhere about “first they came for..” or something along those lines. The phrasing escapes me.

Maybe the problem isn’t that you can’t automate a CEO, it’s that the actual tangible work just isn’t worth as much as some companies pay for it, and this thread it touching a few too many raw nerves.

Well, either way it’s hilarious.

I too laughed when Stable Diffusion came out and artists said their jobs couldn't possible be automated due to the "intangible human creativity that machines can't replicate." I mean, it's the same thing right? At the end of the day, everyone has economic anxiety and will continue to fight to make money to survive.

It really is funny. I'm sympathetic to the idea that you can't automate the intangibles of company leadership, but that same idea also applies to other things like producing art or software, which seems to be eagerly ignored by the same cohorts who take offence to this idea.

This pencil is unclear. Has pointy tip problem. Needs more examples.

ChatGPT, here are some stats, write me an article about older gamers and list reasons why appealing to them is a good business decision.

Amazing. Hyperlinks.

But with comment threads!

This might just be the best stock photo site for YouTube creepypasta videos.

Came to the comments to ask this. Looks like an Amazon product description.

We’ll I think you’re great and that other person is a poopy head.
