Trick question; you've specified the `ipsum` column twice anyway. ;)

Here's how I do it, improvements welcome: https://gist.github.com/875467

Awesome. I actually started to write a script based on cp'ing different hostfiles, but I think I like this way better. Thanks!

Reminds me of TidyPub, also featured on HN a few months back:

Or TiddlyWiki?

Such an awesome thing.

Or Publ.ca

Or Google Sites. https://sites.google.com/

Wow, I didn't know there were so many of these around. I just built a simple one for myself to publish clean notes, and some stuff I wouldn't post on my blog.

If anyone wants to check it out: http://notes.hardikr.com/

edit: updated URL

or like my own Write.fm - similar idea but some key differences (subdomains, markup, multiple pages etc). I like the idea of TidyPub though

I immediately thought the same thing. This is far, far too similar to TidyPub, though they do both look great... so I guess I can't complain?

Nice work, regardless.

My favorite version comes from Douglas Adams, though he probably didn't coin the original:

> Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws. The Hingefreel people of Arkintoofle Minor did try to build spaceships that were powered by bad news but they didn't work particularly well and were so extremely unwelcome whenever they arrived anywhere that there wasn't really any point in being there.

Churchill is reported to have said, "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."

Nope. Not by default, anyway: http://i.imgur.com/n6iqN.png

Is it down? I tried Google, Reddit, and Twitter and got an empty palette back.

It has some stability problems, though it is working now.

I guess its down again, I can't reach it.

Really? I thought that one was the most human of their responses because it is so obviously tongue-in-cheek.

I got a knock on my door a few minutes after reading this post. Signed up via the QR code during the presentation.

Also, it seems to be working with my Apps account. Yesssss.

Terrible redaction job by the editor, too... that blur might as well not be there.

When I've posted this sort of thing before, I totally erase the text that's there, put different (wrong) text there and then do a terrible job of blurring it.

Just to annoy people like yourself!

Probably a bit mean, but I like to make these things a bit more interesting.

Anyway my point is that could easily be what's happened here, you don't know it's really a bad job.

exactly! I was just about to cite this: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1939607
