My entire life, listening to classroom lecture has been an absolute struggle for me. It requires a monumental amount of effort and willpower to pay attention, process and retain all that info at the same time.

On the other hand, I can read something once and If I can handle the material, I typically retain it effortlessly. I know a lot of other people that cannot self-educate via reading.

This study seems to be suggesting something similar to a denial that introverted and extroverted types exist. How can they not?

Im a little suspicious of the proposition:

poor results when current matching styles to lessons = learning styles do not exist.

Is this really a problem with teaching styles?

Sounds more like a general problem that also happens to impact your learning performance.

>Awesome hiring managers should get credit for being awesome.

Highly unlikely considering what you have created. Anonymity and credibility are mutually exclusive. What you have here is a libel engine.

what a fucking pompous blowhard. I find it patently offensive when employers try to posture their employee culture as anything other than what it is, business. "We're all family here..." Fuck you, you are not my Mother or my Father & I resent that implication. Loyalty...please. If Im in on the ground floor, then that might be different, but in that scenario, loyalty swings both ways.

Do you feel better about yourself about saying this about me anonymously on HN? re "you are not my Mother or Father" - I never asked you to read my blog. So the implication that I'm lecturing you is a stretch. I welcome people to disagree with my POV, but personal attacks or epithets are unnecessary.
