I don’t really know why this is getting downvoted. It’s clear that higher education is degrading because of easy to reach AI solutions that have no type of penalties for use.

During my undergrad it was normal to see people refer to Chegg solutions to get their answers, or as a friend for theirs.

Maybe there’s a reason my first CS professor wrote out Java code with pencil and paper I guess.

All because you’re being exploited doesn’t mean you can’t voice your want to change things.

Some of these workers might find that the only gig that they can rely on is ride share for various reasons.

Various reasons necessarily include the successful business model of the ride share companies.

They taught us to make Legobricks with CAD when I was in 6th. Wish I retained more of that and that it would be more widely taught.

I am reasonably confident that access to solid modeling and additive fabrication is now more widespread than ever.

They probably went into a stall (loss of lift) after collision. So they would have lost all control.

Their controls would probably feel all mushy and unresponsive at that point.

Social media companies are actors that actively compete for the attention of young people. That does result in collapsing third spaces and social events because it’s easier/cheaper to just post on IG or hang out on discord.

I wanna say that it is indeed a “skill issue” when it comes to debugging and getting the agent in your editor of choice to move forward. Sometimes it takes an instruction to step back and evaluate the current state and others it’s about establishing the test cases.

I think the exhausting part is more probably more tied to the evaluation of the work the agent is doing, understanding its thought process and catching the hang up can be tedious in the current state of AI reasoning.

That might be because the biggest tech companies have the most skin in the game where legislation is concerned. Money and lobbying is essential if you want the market share and the market hold that they have. Doesn’t matter their political stance towards the US anymore when they companies are willing to compromise and host data centers within any govt’s jurisidction.

Because the market does not reflect reality.

The market reflects reality. The new reality is that the people who are invested apparently don't need liquidity, and bad news doesn't really matter.

>that the people who are invested apparently don't need liquidity

The rich and ultra rich don't need liquidity, they have our 401k plans for that.

The rich and ultra rich tend to borrow against their investments rather than spending their own money. As long as the number continues to go up it's basically a free money pipe for everyone over a certain level of wealth.

Online abuse works the exact same way. Most kids don’t choose to be abused online either.

Yes. What I'm saying is that people can choose to leave online spaces that are abusive, as opposed to abuse at school or home, which are much harder (usually impossible) for children to escape.
