IPNS and IPFS revolutionize internet data storage and management. This guide explores their functions and Filebase's integration, providing an affordable, user-friendly platform.
Summary: Filebase is the world’s first object storage platform powered by decentralized storage networks. We unify multiple networks under a single S3-compatible API to make decentralized storage accessible and easy to use. Our edge-caching technology achieves industry-leading performance when writing and fetching data to and from decentralized networks, making them a highly-secure, geo-redundant alternative to traditional cloud storage at a fraction of the costs.
Role: Developer Growth Advocate
You will be pioneering a new way for developers and businesses to leverage and have access to decentralized storage, using an S3 Compatible solution. This is an early-stage role, with an opportunity to help to lay the groundwork for the world to have an easy (and cost-effective) alternative to the traditional cloud of today.
Our Developer Advocate will continue to foster Filebase relationships within multiple developer ecosystems -Blockchain/Crypto/Web3 and the traditional Object Storage landscape.
Sia has always positioned itself as a backend platform for services to build on. This is why they have invested so heavily in their API.
We agree with many of your points, and that's why we created Filebase[1]. We provide S3-compatible object storage at a fraction of the price and use Sia on our backend.
Thanks for checking out our service! Filebase[1] offers an S3-compatible API and we are happy to confirm that we have tested basic use cases with restic.
Using Sia on our backend enables us to offer cloud storage at very competitive rates. Currently, Backblaze charges egress fees (we don't) and Wasabi has a 90-day minimum charge for all objects. (we have no minimums)
