Built this over the past few weeks. Browser-based flight simulator using Google Maps 3D. Added career progression, timed races, and photo mode since initial version. Would love feedback on the flight model and UX.

That would be fine if Sales & Marketing wants to discuss priority, aka aligning needs with capacity. It's either make them happy and take the blame when the technical debt is unsustainable, or seen as uncooperative. I think it's hard for them to promise the moon if Engineering keeps reminding them about reality.

“Trained developers” huh? I think this is the spin of the wheel, or a sign that software development culture is indeed an ouroboros.

In almost all (modern) families I know, both parents work.

That isn't the case for the majority of the families I know in the US, LCOL area, with small children up to middle school. Women generally stays at home for 10 years or more.

A lot of digitally created content will likely include AI going forward

I'm thinking not only digital. Books can easily be printed on demand. Nothing is stopping us from bringing AI creations into the physical world.
