I agree, saying that 10ms PER REQUEST is negligible is insane. If he actually read the benchmark that was referenced, he probably didn't mean what he wrote there: the benchmark measured a 10ms difference in processing an unspecified fixed number of requests from ~100 connected clients (the benchmark article isn't actually very good, and I don't care enough to dive into the github and find out what was measured).
No matter the clothing prompt (sweater, cargo pants, and shirt), any female image I generated had a bra and shorts showing. Alongside the available poses, I think it's pretty clear what they made this for...
I've run linux (debian and arch) on several chromebooks over the years using MrChromebox and I've never been able to get working audio. I've never had issues other that audio though.
These stories are not mutually exclusive, The New York Times covers a lot of the victims' stories too (and there was at least one daily podcast on the subject within the past few months).
