I was in awe of a friend using vim, I asked him how someone could possess that power, he promptly gave me a license of https://vim-adventures.com/ and now I can't use any other editor that at least have a vim plugin.
Give the game a go, totally worth it if you want to ease into learning vim, after some time try and use it for everything, even if it fells slow, persist and it will be worth it.
If you are aiming for virality, you need to use the lowest common denominator. A fast thinker will understand someone that speaks slow, a slow thinker will not grasp everything a person who speaks fast says.
Really well done the design is beautiful, but to be really useful you need to easily find a way to display the information like this table [1].
I felt like i had to keep moving the bar and I could not quickly get the best time needed.
I use it on the cli, ios, sync with git, and there are plugins for browsers at the bottom(haven't tested it), free and the best there is for me, came from lastpass.
If "you" want to emphasize action(verb) and/or object more than the actor(subject) then use passive.
Words are just tools, have them in your repertoire, understand all the rules so you can break them, poetic license is an art.

I have wifi pretty much disabled, only enabling for updates, I disabled when they told me that there was no encryption at rest. I am not sure how much you write, but for the last year I have changed my nib twice, so that does not really bother me.
The thing is hackable and you can do whatever you need with it.
