With FTWA apps are still websites, it's just another way of opening them without distractions of the browser frame.

I think they’re saying that instead of having to try, for example, an iOS app by downloading it from the App Store, they prefer to visit a URL.

How would you then pay 30% Apple tax?! What a ridiculous idea!

It's different in the fact that PWAs needs to be setup by the website's developer.

Thanks!

- Yes I could create a second firefox preset for snap installs - I would prefer not to touch such sensible files, but will give instructions on how to do it manually

I had written a similar program (but very barebone compared with what you've made), with Firefox only. The way I dealt with profile, is to specify the full path of the profile, rather than a name. This way, I don't have to know where Firefox is searching for profiles, and I can keep all the additional profiles in a separate directory, so they don't mix with normal profiles and don't clog up profile manager.

Yes I saw this option as well, but it seems that it's not possible for macOS

Oh pretty strange, could you please raise on issue on GitHub so I can have any chance of debugging this?

Thanks! Will have a look to all the issues one I have a bit more time. And yes I should leave a note about Ctrl+Q has I've got myself too

Do you have a way to avoid closing all of Chrome on Cmd+Q ? then I'd love to know!

Otherwise for now I'm using https://flotato.com/ but it's not free and it doesn't embed the Chrome plugin (so there are ads on Youtube music etc)

Thanks! Yes I didn't realized I don't speak about this on the website, good advice!

> You can make money ethically even as a company.

That's what I'm talking about, there is very not that much successful companies making money ethically. At one point or another they seems to make a decision that will trade ethics for money.

> Trusting companies was a no-no in the first place.

I meant "trusting" a company like Cloudflare to host my code/being my CDN.

Or for example when you take a flight with a Boeing plane, you're somewhat trusting the company that your plane will not lose a door...

Their latest update is shitty.

Thanks! Sure, I already asked my lawyers, but in their eyes, it's too risky. I still wanted opinions from people closer to the open-source community.

I got your point, currently, most of the money (90%) goes to creators as the main goal is to pay them correctly for their work. 1% of platform income will be donated to "1% for the planet". And I am looking to integrate with fairmint.com to allow users/creators/random people to be a shareholder of Peach.

It is still far from a co-op, the issue is that it is already pretty hard to get funding in my industry (at least from European VC/Angels as I'm based in France) so I can't imagine how hard it would become if we were a co-op. But I would've loved the idea.
