Why not use GH just as a front page you mirror code. You keep your stars but develop elsewhere, on a server you control.

This app should get more traction. They are doing an excellent job - the chatmail implementation is amazing.

The efficiency of the servers is also insane. The smallest VPS can handle over 10k users.
