this is so cool!

thank you! :)

yeah this was cool and genuinely informative.

i found myself mostly reading the summary on the left though.. it was doing most of the heavy lifting. the graph looked nice, but it didn’t really add much to the understanding for me.

Yea, I'm thinking about how to make the design more interactive and useful. I'll probably integrate Excalidraw on it and allow users to describe also the best solution

this is exactly how i feel!

I think a lot are feeling a bit like this...Also pile in all the web frameworks etc...on top of 'crypto' then 'AI'...then who knows what...

There'll be another overhyped buzzword in a few years and we will all be expected to get excited about it and I just can't anymore. Realistically the actual business value of software has barely changed in about 20 years except for niche things in finance and R&D engineering (and I know because i've worked in R&D engineering with embedded guys).

I am just not interested in learning to deploy largely pointless AI chatbots or learn yet another web framework to make largely the same ERP or PLM etc related stuff I've done before in the 'framework d'hier'

really impressive work!!! the depth of research and the way the website presents it are both well executed.

i grew up in erode, a major handloom hub in tamilnadu.. so this hits close to home. research like this helps preserve and better understand regional textile ecosystems that often don’t get enough structured documentation.

thanks for sharing.

I recommend looking at a district's website or that if the associated ministry.

They tend to go in-depth into the history of their ODOP and GI goods, as can be seen with Kancheepuram Saris [0][1].

Visiting Khadi and Cooperative showrooms and export promotion events is also a treat - whenever I'm in Delhi I'd always make some time to visit the state and khadi bhavans in Luyten's Delhi to grab gifts and look at heritage goods.
