An excellent game, with a great UI. Thank-you.

Thanks!

Never heard of that usage (I'm also British).

could it be a cockney thing ?

I've also not heard it, also a Brit. Dunno what the source is of someone saying there's no punt?

No, but do check with Dick van Dyke - the real mockney geezer

The app he's making[1] is an AI-driven notebook for fiction writers. Not changing the world. I don't understand the dedication.

He’s wrapped his identity in being a founder so can’t see the sacrifice/meaningless of it all.

once he is done I’ll clone it with ai over the weekend and showcase it on show hn

Anyone know why it was called the HP-35 if it was the first?

The usual explanation is that it’s got 35 buttons. Whether that’s the true reason I don’t know, but at least the button count checks out!

Now, if someone could explain to me the logic behind the naming of the HP-10, HP-10b, HP-10C and HP-10s, I’d be most grateful...

But a new optical quantum clock may be the solution.

A lovely app -- downloaded!

It's nice to use software, or anything really, where effort has been made to make it beautiful as well as functional. Also it's good to support and highlight good photography.

I met him on this bridge once, he was polishing an old work. He told us that he had the blessing of the owners of the bridge. Other places where he worked, he didn’t have permission.

Yes! English isn't always a great language... I do like the meaning behind it though. You are a brother, even if not in biology, we'll embrace you. It just doesn't work well for genealogists.
