Hi long time jersey city resident here . There never was an abandoned or old “ Anheuser-Busch factory in Jersey City” . AB has operated a massive brewery/factory in Newark 10mins away . In terms of abandoned factories most of not all of the jersey city abandoned property like this would have been retrofitted into something else years ago . Newark on the other hand has loads of abandoned stuff . Also it was home to Balentine’s , Pabst and at one point a sclitz plant .

Yes , there are a lot of quirks in the chrome book platform . I have a 2015 hp 11e and nothing works on it but chromeos, win7 and gallium. No Ubuntu , FreeBSD , NetBSD or red hat .
Living in NY certainly isn't cheap but two six figure earners can more than live comfortably. Hell, if your household income is greater than like 75k then you're pretty much fine -- not living the high life but no real financial worry.
Sure, but I'm assuming the worst case for six figures. If your household income is $200k then even in NY you can easily afford a nice house or high-end condo/apt in a good part of town, while living in comfort with no financial worry.
