The "instructions" at the start of the app are a bit baffling. I spent a good few minutes looking at a screen that told me to tap and drag and a weird orange circle that keys popping up above the capture button. In fact the entire selection with the ISO and shutter speed are a little on the janky side, I'm having a good deal of trouble seeing what I'm actually selecting. It's more completely random than anything with the shutter speed as my thumb obscures the entire view. Weird control usability aside it seems fairly functional, I've wanted something like this for a while.
Do you have a privacy policy somewhere with details about the information you collect from the application? I was unable to find any on your website.
I was always under the impression that a link to this was a requirement for approval in the app store, but I see no such link in iTunes. I suppose my impression was incorrect.
I really like the app so far. My one piece of feedback would be that I'd like the focus button where the aperture number is, so I could have quick, one handed access to it.
I'd go even farther, although it hadn't occurred to me until you wrote this: what I'd really like is an easy-to-reach focus toggle, automatic or macro. I typically only need manual focus when I'm trying to get as close as possible to something.
Whoops forgot to introduce it. Click (or hit spacebar) to see a random GIF fullscreen, keep clicking for more. You can directly link to any of the GIFs. These are all added by users, you add your own by simply dropping in a GIF URL on the homepage.
Oh, right, when I launched it I just saw a background of random squares that changed a bit every time, and I didn't have any gif to try it out with, so I closed it.
Your welcome. In what way do you feel it is unrelated? I'm doing something in the group collaboration space. There were a bunch of other links posted. Some of which I hadn't ever heard of. I though it was a good contribution.
