I never realized how thin the Kuiper Belt was--when I first saw the title I was thinking, yeah--it'll be dust before it gets there.

I suspect it's really just one belt with a gap like we see with resonances in Saturn's rings.

I thought New Horizons was already switched from Kuiper Belt science to some other task.
