Instead of competing on “AI magic,” I tried something different: Manual editing first AI optional (not forced) Lightweight UI Fast load times Clear navigation instead of feature overload In the first 30 days: 100+ organic daily visitors 100 signups in a single day Ranked #4 on launched.lovable.dev 5+ minute average session duration What surprised me most: Most users didn’t use AI mode. They used manual editing more. I think builders are overestimating AI demand and underestimating usability. Technical stack: Built using Lovable Custom workflow logic for design blocks Optimized sitemap for crawlability Manual SEO submissions instead of paid traffic Biggest lesson: Distribution > Features.
